If
you're a K-5 teacher, we know you're probably still relaxing in your beach
chair, soaking up the sunshine, listening to the sweet sound of the ocean
waves, while sipping on freshly picked coconuts served to you by some cabana
boy in a grass skirt on a tropic island.
But the reality is, dare I say it, that back to school is just around
the corner and it's time to start putting away those flip flops.
Wait,
what? You've been working all summer? Teaching summer school, attending
professional development classes, lesson planning, shopping for supplies,
prepping materials and decorating your classroom? Yeah we know. Don't forget
we're teachers too. It was just wishful thinking. We do however hope everyone
had at least a few days to sit back and relax without thinking about school
work.

I would love to win this. There are so many things to do with an iPad in the classroom, but my school doesn't provide any. I have an old tablet that I let the kids use, and sometimes I let them use my iPad, but 2 is not enough!

So exciting! We are a new school that is just starting to build resources so we only have 3 devices per classroom and no teacher devices. It would be so great to have an extra device for teacher and student use. I can guarantee that it would be used ALL DAY, EVERY DAY!! :)
ReplyDeleteI am a first year teacher at a title I school in Atlanta, Georgia. I am teaching first grade at Feldwood Elementary School. This community is in severe poverty but my school is doing amazing things! Everyone is so passionate about their work and I'm so lucky to have joined the team. At the school I completed my internship at we had a classroom set of iPads that I used for a variety of things with my students. Now I'm walking into a classroom with only two computers for 25 kids. I would be so thankful to win this iPad to use at a center for reading phonics games and apps, math activities, and even double as my listening center player! I appreciate people who have the means to give back and that do so. So thank you again for the opportunity and best of luck this school year!

Would love this for my classroom! So many things I could use it for. I have kids that could benefit from handwriting practice using Wet, Dry, Try. I would also use it with my projector so I could walk around while modeling a skill on the screen.
ReplyDeleteIt would be awesome to win since my birthday is August 10! lol
ReplyDeleteI would totally use this in my classroom for the students as a math station. There are some programs we just can't get on our ipods that we could use on the iPad instead.
I would love to win an iPad for my classroom! There are so many ways I could use this. I would have my students use the iPad during math stations for fluency practice. My ELL students could also use it to listen to books.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to win in order to allow students to use the iPad. We don't have iPads in the classroom. The students could use it during centers or for writing activities. I'd like to use qr codes; we've never had the opportunity to do that.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful, wonderful giveaway! Thanks for the chance to win!

Finding JOY in 6th Grade
I would love to use this iPad to implement more music into our daily classroom routines!
ReplyDeleteI would use the ipad to scan my library books and use it for checking them in/out! I would also like to use it for all those QR code products out there! tlem22@live.com
ReplyDeleteI would love an iPad for my class. I work with a large ELL population and it would be great to quickly be able to access pictures and additional information on topics to support their learning.
ReplyDeleteI would love to use the iPad to help my lower level kids with phonics and my upper level kids with fluency. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this iPad for my students! I am a second year teacher and want to integrate technology as much as possible! I want my students to be able to use this for not only centers but also for documenting their learning by creating their own teaching channel that will be posted on our class website to help students with homework and studying. It would mean so much as a relatively new teacher to be able to have access to this technology and really bring my lessons to life and help engage those more challenging students as well as enhance instruction for all students.
ReplyDeleteAn iPad would be awesome for making green screen videos? I love to have students make book trailers this way.

ReplyDeleteThis would be extremely helpful in my classroom. I currently have no way of reading QR codes in my classroom, so this would allow me to have activities with QR codes for my students to get immediate feedback with center activities. This would also enable me to use Plickers with my students. I super excited for this giveaway! Thanks for the opportunity to win!
